Abitare in Maggiolina – Gardens

The volume of the tower building has 15 floors for residential use and responds to a concept involving the superimposition of 16 plateaus conceived as plan libre. The outline of each individual floor changes without compromising the image of the building. It is entirely designed to maintain a strong relationship with the external environment and the urban context.

The Maggiolina Gardens building is based on the decomposition of the volume into smaller buildings and a subsequent chequered superimposition of volumes. The impact in height is mitigated by a play of staggered double heights that emphasises the horizontal perception of the volume. The different cuts of the flats together with the depth of the loggias generate alternation of solids and voids on the façade.
