CAMERA – Inside the Lens, the installation conceived by Progetto CMR and developed by Modesign, concluded with great success after welcoming more than 3,500 visitors in the heart of Milan, between Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza San Babila, during Milan Design Week 2026.
Opened on April 20 and on view until April 26, the installation animated the entire design week, becoming a meeting place for architecture, perception and innovation.
CAMERA is a lightweight, removable single-volume module designed according to principles of sustainability, circular economy and reversibility.
Easy to assemble, disassemble and transport, it is conceived to be replicated in different contexts and adapted to various uses: from outdoor hospitality and glamping to cultural events and fragile territories.
Inspired by the shape of a camera lens, CAMERA offered an immersive experience combining direct observation with digital content.
Inside the micro-architecture, visitors entered an essential and contemplative space oriented toward Milan’s Duomo, creating a continuous dialogue between urban perception and a technologically mediated gaze.

More than an installation, CAMERA became a platform for discussion on the future of architecture and urban space, welcoming designers, students and professionals.
The experience generated content, relationships and reflections that went beyond the exhibition dimension, transforming the space into a narrative and social device.
Throughout the week, CAMERA hosted workshops and public initiatives, including micro-editorial teams developed with third-sector organizations such as Fondazione Bullone.
These activities offered an inside perspective on Fuorisalone through live interviews and real-time content creation, reinforcing the project’s participatory dimension.

The project was made possible thanks to Finsa (main partner), AGC, Hisense, iGuzzini, Schüco, Thema, Theatro, Verde Profilo (partners), Fondazione Bullone (special guest), and Stain Engineering (technical partner).
